Strong reaction in Iran to the election of President-elect Donald Trump.

FOX’s Jessica Golloher reports from the Mideast bureau:

The head of the armed forces in Iran, general Mohammad Hossein Bagheri, says the person who has recently achieved power, referring to President-elect Donald Trump, has talked off the top of his head, threatening Iran in the Persian Gulf, is just a joke.

According to Tehran’s semiofficial Fars News Agency, the general saying the American presidential candidates ate too much sugar during their campaigns, which is in reference to a Farsi proverb about people who talk nonsense.

In September Mr. Trump said Iranian ships that try to provoke the United States ships will be shot out of the water.  This after Tehran took 10 Americans captive after their ship entered Iranian waters on accident. They were released 24 hours later.
