President Obama Aims for Smooth Transition of Power into White House

The President addresses the surprising results of yesterday’s Presidential election.

FOX’s Jon Decker has more from the White House:

Speaking from the Rose Garden, the President acknowledged that he and President-Elect Donald Trump have had some serious differences. But he said he’s committed to making sure that the transition of power to the new Administration is a smooth one:

(President Obama) “This is an intramural scrimmage. We’re not Democrats first. We’re not Republicans first. We’re American’s first.”

The President and the President-Elect will meet at the White House tomorrow. Both men say they are committed to trying to unify a very divided country.
