Country Music Shines at 50th CMA Awards

The 50th CMA Awards brought out all the country stars Wednesday night in Nashville.

FOX’s Jacquelyn Karl has a recap:

Garth Brooks won ‘Entertainer of the Year’ at the 50th CMA Awards on ABC.

(Brooks) “I gotta tell you, we are so damn lucky to be part of this thing called country music!”

Eric Church  won ‘Album of the Year’ for “Mr. Misunderstood”, an album he surprise-released at the CMA’s last year.

Carrie Underwood winning ’Female Vocalist of the Year’ saying:

(Underwood) “You guys are amazing… Um, I’ve just become suddenly stupid, I just love you all, God Bless you guys, thank you so much!”

Chris Stapleton won male vocalist and Dolly Parton took home the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award.
