University of London Researchers Developing the “Magical” Tasting Spoon

Imagine a world were cauliflower tastes like chocolate chip cookies. A new spoon is being developed for wanna-be healthy eaters with a sweet tooth.

    FOX’s Tom Graham explains:

British scientists say they’re on the verge of creating an electric spoon that could make veggie’s taste like chocolate or cheeseburgers. The device would stimulate certain taste buds, fooling the brain into thinking it’s eating sweet or salty flavors, even if it’s just a bite full of bland broccoli.

University of London researchers unveiling the device at a science fair last week. It could theatrically be fitted to cups and cans and other utensils but researchers are just concentrating on a prototype spoon, for now.
