Despite the mudslinging in the 2016 presidential election, some of America's neighbors say they still love the USA.

FOX's Steve Rappoport explains:

We've all heard Donald Trump say it:

(Trump) "We are going to make America so great again."

But some of our neighbors to the North already think we are:

(Canadians) "We just want you to know that you guys are great, you really are great."

A Toronto advertising agency calling on Canadians to share their love of America:

(Canadians) "You dream big. Your quest to be the best, creates the best. A land of opportunity where anyone can be anything they want to be."

Company officials say the "Tell America It's Great" campaign, complete with its own Twitter hashtag, allows Canadians to shine a positive light on an election that has become increasingly negative.

Some Americans returned the love with the hashtag #TellCanadaThankYou.
