2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Nominees Announced

The nominations for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame were announced today.

Late Rapper Tupoc Shakur and Pearl Jam, among the first time nominees, in fact, 9 of the 19 of the acts nominated are on the ballot for the first time.

More than 800 artists, historians and music industry officials vote. Other first-time nominees, Journey, punk pioneers Bad Brains, Depeche Mode, Electric Light Orchestra, Jane’s Addiction, Joan Baez and Canadian rockers Steppenwolf.
