Paul Ryan Fields Questions on Election in Wisconsin, No Mention of Trump

House Speaker Paul Ryan is encouraging millennial voters to look beyond the nastiness of the current Presidential election.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Washington:

Speaking to and answering questions from college Republicans in Madison, Wisconsin, House Speaker Paul Ryan urged young voters to raise their gaze:

(Ryan) “Don’t get into a personality contest. Don’t talk about the latest Twitter-storm from somebody. Talk about what you believe and why you believe it.”

Not once from either Ryan or students asking questions was Donald Trump’s named mentioned. The Speaker, instead, offering a critique of what he called Hillary Clinton’s liberal progressive vision:

(Ryan) “It is the bad landlord who raises your rent, but doesn’t fix the heat.”

Ryan also stressed the importance of ensuring Republicans keep control of the Senate.
