The Vice Presidential debate gets underway tonight. What will Tim Kaine and Mike Pence bring to the table?
FOX’s Jon Decker has a preview:
Both VP candidates have three main goals for tonight’s debate, introduce themselves to the American public, lay out their policy agenda and defend the top of the ticket.
Clinton campaign spokeswoman Kristina Schake says Democratic Virginia Senator Tim Kaine has been prepping for the debate for the past week:
(Schake) “He’s taking this very seriously as Hillary did too. They both very much take this seriously. It’s a chance to talk to the American people about what they would do.”
Republican Indiana Governor Mike Pence has been a stalwart defender of Donald Trump on the campaign trail and is expected to target Hillary Clinton over the course of the 90-minute debate.
