FOX News Poll: Without Third Parties, Clinton Pulls Ahead of Trump
The latest FOX News poll is in and Hillary Clinton is ahead of Donald Trump, but only by a bit.
FOX’s Jessica Rosenthal reports it was taken after the debate:
Hillary Clinton is ahead of Donald Trump 43 to 40 percent in the latest FOX News poll. With Gary Johnson at eight percent and Jill Stein at four.
But if you take Johnson and Stein out, Clinton leads Trump by five points, instead of three. If you break it down by race and gender, whites and men prefer Trump over Clinton. Non whites and women prefer Clinton over Trump. When asked about motivation, 57 percent said they were more motivated to vote against the opposing candidate.
39 percent said their vote was out of enthusiasm for their candidate. Neither Clinton nor Trump is seen as honest or trustworthy, but 35 percent of respondents said they found Clinton is compared with 31 percent who found Trump is.
