Stein & Johnson Fail to Qualify for First Debate

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton won’t have to share the stage with any other candidates when they meet for the first Presidential debate later this month.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Washington:

Libertarian party nominee Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein have not qualified for the first Presidential debate September 26. The Commission on Presidential debates says neither reached the 15 percent polling average needed to make the debate stage.

It means their running mates also aren’t invited to the Vice Presidential debate in early October.

There is a chance Johnson or Stein are invited to the second and third presidential debates, if polling averages improve by then.
