Mike Pence Dismisses Clinton’s “Deplorable” Comment

Republican Vice-Presidential nominee Mike Pence is weighing in on Democrat Hillary Clinton’s remark that half of Donald Trump’s supporters are deplorable.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

Speaking to reporters at the Capitol, Pence was asked if white nationalist David Duke is “deplorable”. While he said he’s not in the name-calling business, he did say:

(Pence) ”Donald Trump and I have denounced David Duke repeatedly. We have said that we do not want his support and we do not want the support of people who think like him.”

Pence said he’s not sure why Duke’s name keeps coming up. Democrat Hillary Clinton tweeted about Duke, saying if Trump won’t say the KKK is deplorable, he has no business running the country.
