Donald Trump Releases Childcare Plan

Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump is releasing more information about his proposed childcare tax deduction plan.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

Working parents and stay-at-home parents would receive the same childcare tax deduction, under Trump’s Childcare Affordability Plan.

His campaign says doing so would allow families to decide whether a parent should stay at home without what he calls bias in the tax code. Trump’s plan covers deductions for up four children, as well as for elderly parents.

Families making more than $500,000 a year would not be eligible. Trump’s proposal would also guarantee six weeks of paid maternity leave by amending existing unemployment insurance.
