Catch The Boss Near You: Bruce Springsteen Schedules Book Tour

Bruce Springsteen’s ‘River Tour 2016’ wraps up Sept. 14, but don’t think that will be the last time you’ll get a chance to see him.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:

After breaking records during his latest tour, performing four hours a night for fans, Bruce Springsteen is showing no signs of slowing down. The 66-year-old rocker is heading home not to rest, but to start a book tour later this month.

Springsteen announced a nine-stop book tour beginning with his childhood hometown of Freehold, New Jersey, Sept. 27, the same day his memoir “Born to Run” is released:

(Springsteen) “We got to get out while we’re young.”

The book talks about his childhood in New Jersey, his rise to super-stardom and his own personal struggles, like his battle with depression, and how it all inspired songs such as “Born to Run” and “Thunder Road.”
