New Poll Shows Tight Race in Battleground States

The race for the White House is in a dead heat, according to new battleground state polls.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

Democrat Hillary Clinton has the lead in Pennsylvania and in North Carolina, but a new Quinnipiac University swing state poll shows Republican Donald Trump gaining an edge in Ohio and Florida.

The candidates tied in Florida at 47. Trump is leading by one point in Ohio and Clinton is holding on to a four point lead in North Carolina and a five point lead in Pennsylvania.

The survey finds there remains gender and racial gaps in battleground states.
