Having a Destination Wedding? Here’s some Tips on Getting the Most Out of It
Are you having a destination wedding? What’s the best way to tie the knot and also enjoy time with your loved ones?
FOX’s Ashley Papa has this week’s “FOX on Love”:
Summer is sadly behind us, but wedding season isn’t. A survey by The Knot shows more lovebirds are getting hitched in the fall with destination weddings being a popular choice.
Whether you’re saying “I do” under the Caribbean sun or the fall foliage in Maine, Julia Maximo, communications officer at Ocean Club Resorts in Turks and Caicos, says choose a destination that’s easy for you and your guests to get to:
(Maximo) “I would also recommend a convenient location to activities, dining and shopping.”
Maximo says to consider the wedding packages offered:
(Maximo) “The package that handles all wedding related details, the bride and groom should relax and enjoy the special time with loved ones.”
And, she says, choose a wedding planner familiar with the destination:
(Maximo) “We do recommend wedding planners that specifically deal with the location, not only for their knowledge and experience, but for the working relations built with their trusted vendors.”
The more you and your love can just enjoy the special day, the happier your “happily ever after” will be.
