Ryan Lochte and three other Olympic swimmers get punished for their shenanigans in Rio.

FOX's Dave Anthony reports:

Ryan Lochte is told to stay out of the pool. The U.S. Olympic Committee and USA Swimming suspending him from competition through next June, which will make him ineligible for the World Championships in July.

Lochte will also forfeit $100,000 in bonus money he got for winning a gold medal, all for what happened in Rio, when he and three other swimmers claimed they were robbed at gunpoint in a drunken vandalism incident at a gas station.

Lochte later told Brazil's O'Globo:

(Lochte) "I ripped this poster off the wall, it was my fault, so I take full responsibility for this."

Lochte hasn't said if he'll return to Brazil to face a filing a false report charge.

Gunnar Bentz, Jack Conger and Jimmy Feigen got four month swimming suspensions.
