No Need to ‘Wing’ it on Game Day

With football season officially kicking off tips for a tailgating classic.

    FOX’s Lilian Woo reports:

To turn out a great chicken wing for game day, some think they should be baked, others  fried, some say steam then fry or bake.

Chef and author James Briscione says:

(Briscione) “Frying the wings overnight, sugar, salt, water, Tabasco, and then you boil them in the burner, so they’re fully cooked. So the next day all you do is roll them in flour and then just cook them in the oil until they’re brown. You don’t make a big mess.”

For a meat free option, roast a whole head of cauliflower in the oven brushed with a bit of olive oil 375 till it’s tender and a bit brown.

Author Sarah Zorns sets cut it up, then make a basic buffalo sauce, sriracha hot sauce butter, toss the cauliflower in it, roast a bit more and serve with cheese sauce.
