Judge Sets Trial Date in Bill Cosby Sexual Assault Case

Bill Cosby was back in court in the only criminal case over the sexual assault claims against him.

FOX’s Gurnal Scott with more:

Judge Steven O’Neill has tentatively set June 5, 2017 as the trial date for entertainer Bill Cosby on the sex assault charge he faces. That was decided at a hearing in Norristown, Pennsylvania today.

Former Temple University employee Andrea Constand says Cosby drugged and molested her. Cosby says the relationship was consensual.

In a letter, Cosby’s defense says the entertainer is now blind and could need special assistance for a trial. Prosecutors say they want 13 other women who’ve made similar allegations against Cosby to testify.

Judge O’Neill has not ruled on that yet.
