Daycare Center Busted for Secret Garden Full of Weed
Police in Connecticut are looking for whoever planted a secret garden after a drug bust.
FOX’s Dave Anthony reports:
It wasn’t just weeds growing behind a suburban home in West Haven, Connecticut: It was weed. And they tried to hide it:
(Woman) “We did see a big fence being made, but then again, it was kind of odd, but I mean you know, people do weird things.”
The 600 marijuana plants worth a million dollars were discovered in the backyard last week. Found because that home is also used to operate a daycare and state compliance inspectors saw all the plants:
(Man) “It’s shocking, you know, you never know who your neighbors are.”
The daycare has been shut down. It’s license suspended, as police investigate who was growing the pot.
