IIHS Child Car Seat Anchors & Latches Stats Released
Do you know how safe is your child car seat anchors are? The insurance industry does.

New rankings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety shows the Audi Q7, Lexus RX and Toyota Prius have the easiest-to-use anchors for child safety seats:
(Jermakian) “That means that not only is the hardware easy to use, but they also allow child seat installation using latch in more seating positions than what’s required by government rule.”
IIHS spokeswoman Jessica Jermakian says that 170 vehicles were tested for child safety seat anchors and latches, that Toyota was the most improved from last year’s results.
With the Ford Fiesta, Chevrolet and GMC 1500 pickups and the Infiniti Q70 among the eight worst performers on the list.
