Threat of Terrorism Isn’t Stopping People from Traveling

World wide travel keeps on growing!

    FOX’s Kerin McCue reports:

The pace has slowed somewhat, due to terrorism fears and weakening economies. But overall, global travel spending is up.

According to the worldwide Travel and Tourism Council, spending will grow by 3.1 percent in 2016. That’s a little lower than the 3.3 percent forecast in March, but better than global economic growth, estimated to be 2.3 percent. And the W.T.T.C.’s president, David Scowsill says macro-economic problems impact travelers plans moreso than terrorism.

He says if folks are worried about going to France, they’ll pick Spain or Italy instead. Bon voyage!
