Tony Bennett Will be Forever Immortalized in San Francisco

The city of San Francisco is giving back to the man that left his heart there.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports: 

Tony Bennett has been breaking hearts all over the world ever since he first sang “I Left My Heart in San Francisco”, now the city will recognize the iconic singer, painter and civic treasure with several tributes celebrating his 90th birthday.

The centerpiece will be a public dedication and unveiling of an eight-foot-tall bronze statue of Bennett atop Nob Hill. The Italian singer is also getting his own ice cream flavor, “Duet” will feature vanilla ice cream swirled with limoncello sorbet and fennel biscotti to honor Bennett’s heritage.
