After a decade away from the MTV VMA's Britney Spears is doing it again.

FOX's Michelle Pollino reports:

Now that Britney Spears is back with a new album. The pop star will mark her return with a trip to the stage to the MTV Video Music Awards. Spears will perform her latest single, "Make Me".

The 34-year-old Spears drops her new album "Glory" just two days before the VMA's and if you are taking notes, this is Spears sixth time at the show and she claims some of the show's most iconic moments.

In 2001, she sang with a giant snake around her shoulders and she also shared a steamy kiss with Madonna to open the show in 2003.

Beyonce is this year's leading nominee with 11, followed by Adele, who earned eight nominations.
