Long Live The King… Fans Remember Elvis
It’s been nearly 40 years since we lost “The King”.
FOX’s Rich Denison reports:
It was 39 years ago today, August 16, 1977, Elvis Presley died, a fact not lost on his legion of fans who still flock to Graceland in Memphis to visit the rock n roll icon’s grave:
(Presley) “We can go on together.”
Despite pouring rain, a large turnout last night as fans holding candles, paid their respects at Presley’s former home, now a museum:
(Presley) “Kentucky rain keeps pouring down.”
