"Make no mistake about it, this president has done far too little to push back against this threat of radical Islamic terrorism and in that way, Mr. Trump has it right, they have allowed this to expand and threaten us here at home and throughout the west and for that he is responsible."

---Rep Pompeo on Trump calling Pres. Obama & Hillary Clinton the co-founders of ISIS

Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-KS), spoke with Kilmeade & Friends fill-in host Pete Hegseth to discuss the congressional joint task force's report on CENTCOM manipulating intelligence to create a rosier picture of the U.S. effort combating ISIS in Iraq & Syria and Donald Trump saying President Obama & Hillary Clinton are the co-founders of ISIS.

Listen here:

Pompeo on the culture created by the White House only wanting to be given positive news regarding the war on terror

(POMPEO) For 7 ½ years this president has consistently attempted downplayed the threat from radical Islamic terrorism. Whether that was from Ansar al-Sharia in Benghazi or Al-Qaedain Iraq or Syria or Ahrar al-Sham or in this case ISIS, they have consistently tried to downplay it. The entire apparatus of our national security team has understood that we are not going to talk about this in a way that reflected the reality on the ground. We have seen this time and time again, what happened in CENTCOM is part and parcel of a culture that has been unwilling to accept that we have a real enemy that we must go crush and defeat and put the resources in place to achieve that objective.

Pompeo on Trump referring to President Obama & Hillary Clinton as co-founders and MVP's of ISIS

(POMPEO) The founders started back in Cairo with Hassan al-Banna and Sayyid Qutb, they started this Salafi jihadism but make no mistake about it, this president has done far too little to push back against this threat of radical Islamic terrorism and in that way, Mr. Trump has it right, they have allowed this to expand and threaten us here at home and throughout the west and for that he is responsible.
