Trump Tower Climber Being Evaluated

A New York City man is being evaluated after scaling Trump Tower before being taken into custody.

FOX’s Tonya J. Powers has the story:

A 20-year-old man from Virginia said he wanted a “private audience” with Donald Trump is being evaluated at Bellevue Hospital after he spent three hours scaling the glass facade of Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan using large suction cups.

It created quite a stir nationwide and on the ground:

(Lady) “I think that he’s pretty great and I hope he can continue to evade police because I don’t have cable and this is nice.”

(Man) “I think he had too many cups of coffee.”

He got to the 21st floor before police grabbed him. The building is headquarters to Donald Trump’s Republican presidential campaign.

Trump also lives there, but was out of town for campaign events. The man will have to be cleared by a doctor before he can be charged.
