Veiled Threat on the Campaign Trail?

Did Republican nominee Donald Trump make a veiled threat against Democrat Hillary Clinton during a speech in North Carolina? Both campaigns are weighing in.

FOX’s Gurnal Scott has the story:

Donald Trump discussed gun rights at a Wilmington campaign stop with this statement about a Clinton Presidency:

(Trump) ”If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks. Although the 2nd Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.”

Reaction came quickly on Twitter calling that statement a threat against Clinton. Her campaign said in a statement that Trump ”should not suggest violence in any way” on the trail.

The Trump campaign responded saying the comment only shows “the power of unification” among 2nd Amendment supporters.
