Trump Wants New Voter ID Laws

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump campaigned in the battleground state of North Carolina attacking Democrat Hillary Clinton and weighing in on a controversial state election issue.

FOX’s Gurnal Scott with more:

Donald Trump’s stop in Wilmington, North Carolina, not only targeted Hillary Clinton, but also railed against a recent appeals court decision:

(Trump) ”What’s with voter ID? Why aren’t we having voter ID?”

Last month federal judges struck down the state’s voter ID law saying it suppressed Black voter turnout.

Trump implied that he didn’t have an issue with showing identification to cast a ballot:

(Trump) “As opposed to somebody coming up and voting 15 times for Hillary.”

Trump says he’s been told by North Carolina’s Governor that they’re seeking a stay before the Supreme Court.
