Rod Blagojevich Reduced Prison Sentence Rejected

The disgraced ex-governor of Illinois is stuck with his full corruption sentence. A judge refusing to shorten it.

FOX’s Jeff Monosso is in Chicago with the story:

Disgraced former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich, with his white hair, wearing a prison jumpsuit, told a federal judge here in Chicago via a video feed, that he recognizes his words and actions led him to his Colorado prison and he apologized, saying he’s trying to be a better man.

That before the judge denied Blagojevich’s call for a reduced 14-year prison sentence, after five of his 18 corruption charges were recently tossed out.

The prosecution contends the people of Illinois deserve better and that Blagojevich deserves the prison sentence they gave him.
