American Fencer Makes History at Rio Olympics

Some history for an American Olympian in Rio.

FOX’s Chris Hoenig reports from Olympic Park:

Fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad, the first American Olympian to compete in a hijab, winning her first match here at the Rio Olympics, before crashing out of the women’s sabre competition in the Round of 16.

The 30-year-old New Jersey native is ranked eighth in the world. Her Olympics are not over though, Muhammad will compete for the United States in the women’s team fencing competition on Saturday.
