Further evidence being overweight is bad for you.

FOX's Lilian Woo reports:

Being too heavy can cost you years off your life. This according to a study which some scientists are calling the largest ever analysis involving data from nearly four million non-smoking adults in 32 countries.

The finding: overweight people can die one year earlier than expected while moderately obese people can lose up to three years of their lives.

The Oxford University study also found being obese is far more dangerous for men than women. A 5'4 person who weighs in 174 pounds or more is considered obese.

In North America and Europe carrying too much weight is a leading killer. Now only second to smoking as a cause of premature death.
