Flying to the Democratic Convention? Prepare for Long Airport Lines
A strike threat may make it difficult for delegates and reporters to get to the Democratic Convention.
FOX’s John Saucier reports:
If you’re flying into the Democratic National Convention later this month, you may want to budget a lot of extra time at the airport, because as many as 1000 workers at Philadelphia International Airport might be walking off the job that week.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports the workers want the ability to unionize, better sick pay, and better scheduling.
Workers have already protested their way to a $12 an hour wage, so we’ll see what happens come July 25th, when the convention gets underway.
