Texas Governor May Not Attend GOP Convention
Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbot may miss the GOP convention next week in Cleveland.
FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports:
Governor Abbott suffered serious burns in an accident involving hot water last week while he was vacationing with his family in Wyoming. There’s no word on what caused the accident, which left the Governor with second and third degree burns on both legs below the knees, and on his feet.
His doctor has advised him not to travel, so its not likely to make an appearance at the Republican National Convention.
Abbott is heading to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio this afternoon to see specialists.
