Robberies Surrounding Pokemon GO
A warning to smartphone game users after armed robberies in Missouri, that center around the Pokemon GO app.
FOX’s Jeff Monosso reports:
Police just Northwest of St. Louis in O’Fallon, Missouri say that four teens have been caught luring people using the popular Pokemon smartphone app.
Which sends players of the game or in this case alleged victims to certain locations to collect “Pokemon” characters only later to be robbed.
The four teens arrested may also be linked to similar armed robberies in St. Louis County and St. Charles County.
Pokémon users are also being targeted around the world with reported robberies in France and Australia.
