Pelosi: Dallas Shootings ‘An Agenda of Evil’
Emotional tributes to the Dallas police officers killed by House leaders on Capitol Hill.

House Speaker Paul Ryan opened the legislative session, expressing shock and outrage at the targeting killings of Dallas police:
(Ryan) “There’s gonna be a temptation to let our anger send us further into our corners. Let’s not let that happen. That script is just too easy to write.”
Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi also taking time to express gratitude to the officers involved and their families:
(Pelosi) “It is clear that those perpetrators of this vile act have an agenda of evil.”
The House session was delayed a bit after a brief security scare temporarily locked down the Capitol.
