How Many Drinks Does It Take to Find Your Date Attractive?
The dating scene can be a challenging one, so why not start slow and ease the tensions with a drink?
FOX’s Ashley Papa has this week’s “FOX on Love”:
From preferred date drink, to the cocktail that puts people in the mood, our alcoholic beverage choices can affect our dating life.
Allyse Sanchez, spokesperson for Slo Down Wines, says the recent survey of drinkers found that 60 percent of men and women find their date more attractive after three drinks.
But that doesn’t mean daters found themselves better looking after a few spirits:
(Sanchez) “Actually 60 percent of our respondents said that alcohol does not make them feel more attractive. So if you are on a date and looking to avoid a beer goggle situation,, we would suggest sticking to just two drinks.”
Sanchez says man prefer beer, and women prefer wine on dates. But, while vino and cerveza may be the aphrodisiac of choice don’t assume that’s what your date will want:
(Sanchez) “We would suggest checking in with them first before ordering on their behalf. You never know when they might throw you a curve ball.”
