Trump Veep-Stakes
When it comes to the name that will sit just under Donald Trump’s on the GOP ticket, there are apparently many choices still being considered.
FOX’s Gurnal Scott has the story:
Presumptive Republican Nominee Donald Trump tells FOX News there’s lots of interest to be his Vice President:
(Trump) “We have about 10 people, some names that haven’t surfaced yet.”
And for him the vetting process continues, but without Tennessee Senator Bob Corker, who pulled himself out of the running, visiting with Trump in North Carolina:
(Trump) “He told me everything that he really would like to do and Bob is a terrific guy.”
But Trump says he isn’t stopping with elected officials:
(Trump) “I’ve really been thinking more in terms of the politicians, but we’re also looking at two generals.”
Trump plans to reveal his choice at the GOP convention in Cleveland.
