Clinton Gets Some Presidential Backing on the Campaign Trail
President Obama hits the campaign trail for the first time with presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Washington:
President Obama will campaign with Hillary Clinton tomorrow in Charlotte, North Carolina, the first joint-event for the two since Clinton announced her Presidential bid.
The President formally endorsed Clinton last month after she secured enough delegates to claim the Democratic nomination.
Recent polls give Clinton a very narrow advantage in North Carolina. President Obama lost the state in 2012, but won it in 2008.
Clinton and the President were scheduled to campaign together last month in Wisconsin that trip was cancelled in the aftermath of the Orlando nightclub attack.
