The Republican-led Benghazi Committee has finished its report, revealing new insight into the attack the left a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans dead.
Listen to FOX News Radio's coverage of the House Panel talking about the Benghazi report:
FOX's Jared Halpern has more from Washington:
The two-years-in-the-making report offers new details about what was happened in Libya and Washington, the night of the consulate attack.
Benghazi Committee chairman, Republican Trey Gowdy, critical of Obama administration's decision-making:
(Gowdy) "No U.S. military asset was ever deployed to Benghazi, despite the order of the Secretary of Defense."
The report characterizes the stalled deployment amid in-fighting over whether permission from the Libyan government was required.
Democrats on the Committee dismissed the GOP report as a conspiracy theory. In a report of their own, however, they do fault woefully inadequate security measures at the Benghazi consulate.
