Man Refuses to Take Down American Flag

    A Colorado man with the same name of a founding father is waging a fight over flying old glory.

    FOX’s Pat O’Neill has more:

    Samuel Adams says he’d rather face eviction than take down the stars and stripes.

    Adams got a notice last week from the management of the Sterling Heights building complex in Greely, demanding he remove the American flag from his balcony railing.

    He video-recorded himself reading the letter, posting it on YouTube and Facebook:

    (Adams) “Dear Samuel, please be advised that it has come to managements attention that you have an American flag on your balcony patio area.”

    Adams, who put up the flag to celebrate the upcoming 4th of July holiday is defying the order. He says he’s never done anything like this befoe and that he’s gotten support from vets and military families.
