Donald Trump reacted to the United Kingdom voting to leave the European Union.

FOX's Jon Decker has more from the White House:

Donald Trump celebrated Britain's vote to leave the European Union saying that the people of the United Kingdom have in his words "taken their country back":

(Trump) "People want to see borders. They don't want necessarily to see people pouring into their country that they don't know who they are and where they come from. They have no idea."

Trump called the results a "fantastic thing" and "historic." In May, Trump said his personal view was that the UK would be better off apart from the EU, primarily because of problems associated with immigration.
