Has Time Run Out on Bernie Sanders?

Reality seems to be setting in for Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. For the first time, he says it’s not likely he’ll top the Democratic ticket.

FOX’s Gurnal Scott has the story:

Sanders, who battled Hillary Clinton nearly down to the wire in the primaries has told C-Span in an interview that the writing is on the wall:

(Sanders) “It doesn’t appear that I’m going to be the nominee, so I’m not going to be determining the scope of the convention.”

Sanders wound up just short of 1900 delegates, but still well behind Clinton’s more than 2800. He still has not publicly said if he’ll endorse Clinton as the party nominee.

Sanders plans a speech in New York Thursday to address where his campaign goes from here.
