California Officer Helps Homeless Man Get New Wheels

Another random act of kindness by a police officer.

    FOX’s Tom Rigatti explains:

A Sgt. with the Westminister P.D. is being praised for going the extra mile for a homeless man whose wheel chair had been stolen.

Sgt. Donnie Webb spotted the man lying on the street. He stopped to check on him and learned that the man’s wheelchair had been taken.

Webb then sent out a message to other officers asking them for help in finding a replacement chair for the man. Another cop went to a local health care center where employees donated a wheelchair.

Webb then delivered the new chair to the man. Who smiled, and said “nice things do happen.”
