Queen of TV Stresses Tougher Gun Laws

The queen of television delivered some tough questions regarding Sunday’s mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:

Oprah Winfrey turned the tables on a reporter for the Associated Press posing questions regarding the mass shooting in Orlando that left 49 people dead:

(Winfrey) “What number is enough, is high enough to get our attention so that we will say enough?”

She stayed on the subject of the Orlando tragedy taking on the type of weapon used at the shooting:

(Winfrey) “Are we a country that really believes that assault weapons should be made available to anybody? Are assault weapons necessary?”

Winfrey was on the arrivals line at the premiere of “Greenleaf,” her new TV show, which she executive produces and acts in. The show premieres on OWN.
