FOX News: Democratic Race for the White House Goes to Hillary Clinton

FOX News can now project that Hillary Clinton will clinch the Democratic presidential nomination, becoming the first woman in American history to top the ticket of a major political party.

FOX’s Gurnal Scott is at the Brooklyn Navy Yard with more:

Eight years after bowing out of the presidential race, tonight Hillary Clinton officially steps up, as she becomes standard bearer of the Democratic party.

Her words this evening here in Brooklyn are expected to embrace the nominee’s role. This New Jersey voter said today it’s her time:

(Voter) “First woman following the first african american. I think it’s a fitting moment for history and moving the nation forward.”

Her goals now, continue her national argument against Republican Donald Trump as President and bring Bernie Sanders’ supporters into the fold and unite the Democrats.
