Defending Super Bowl Champion Broncos Visit the White House

It may be summer in Washington, but it was all about football season at the White House as President Obama welcomed the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos.

FOX’s Jill Nado is in Washington with more:

Quarterback Peyton Manning, kicker Brandon McManus and the rest of the Broncos getting congratulations on their Super Bowl 50 win from President Obama, even though:

(President Obama) “I will continue to root for the Bears, but I gotta give this organization credit for having done an extraordinary job and this is a well deserved celebration.”

The President calling the Broncos’ success “a high-water mark with a third Super Bowl trophy in a dominating win over Carolina,”

Broncos Cornerback Aqib Talib had to miss out on the visit. He’s recovering from a gunshot wound he got at during an altercation over the weekend at a Dallas nightclub.
