Baylor’s Ken Starr Steps Down as Chancellor, Will Remain Teacher

A demotion, and now resignation at Baylor University.

FOX’s Chris Foster reports:

Ken Starr was removed as Baylor’s president last week, with football coach Art Briles fired over the handling of sexual abuse accusations against his players.

Now Starr tells ESPN’s ‘Outside the Lines’:

(Starr) “As a matter of conscience, I have submitted my resignation as Chancellor. However, I continue as Louise L. Morrison professor of law at my beloved Baylor law school.”

He says he did not know about the abuse allegations until they came out in the media last year. A law firm hired by the school finds Baylor did little to respond to the accusations made over several years.
