Another ‘Spoonful’ of Mary Poppins

Mary Poppins returns to theatres in a reboot of the Walt Disney classic and an all new cast.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:

Disney announced there will be a brand new “Mary Poppins” coming to theaters:

(Mary Poppins) “In every job that must be done there is an element of fun, you find the fun, and snap… the job’s a game.”

The 1964 classic movie is getting a sequel with Emily Blunt in the famous nanny role in “Mary Poppins Returns.”

(Mary Poppins) “For a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down.”

And Walt Disney studios says a new character is being added, Jack the street lamplighter, to be played by “Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The film will be set in depression-era London and is planned for a Christmas, 2018 release.
