Trinity Broadcasting Co-founder Dies

    Jan Crouch, one of the founders of the world’s largest Christian television network, has died.

    FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:

    Jan Crouch one of the founders of the Trinity Broadcasting Network has died:

    (Crouch) “Jesus is the only one that the world fights.”

    Crouch, also known around the world as Momma Jan, suffered a stroke on Saturday in Orlando, Florida. On Tuesday, her children posted on TBN on Twitter, “Laurie and I have just watched the transition of our precious mother from this world to the next.”

    Jan and her husband, Paul, started the network in 1973 by renting air time on an independent California station. Trinity officials say its programming is now carried by over 5,000 television stations. Her husband, Paul, died in 2013.
