States Sue over School Ruling on Transgender Bathrooms
11 states are now suing the Obama Administration over the recent directive to schools on transgender bathroom choice.
FOX’s Steve Taylor reports from Washington:
The White House says public schools must allow transgender students to use the bathroom of their choice. That has brought an outraged reaction from the states of Texas, Alabama, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Arizona, Maine, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Utah, Georgia and West Virginia.
They say the White House is trying to turn schools and workplaces into laboratories for a massive social experiment. The states want federal courts to declare the policy illegal.
